Creating an App in Salesforce lightning

A salesforce app is a set or group of tabs that are used to create certain functionalities.

There are basically 2 types of Apps in Salesforce -:

Steps to Create an App in Salesforce Lightning are -:

Step 1. Log in to your org.

Step 2. Search App Manager from the left side of screen present i.e., QUICK FIND

Step 3. Click on the New lightning App from the right side of the screen.

Step 4.  The New lightning App Screen Appears. The App creation contains a total of 5 steps as shown in the screenshot.

Step 5. First Step Is App details and App Branding, Now fill all the required fields i.e., App Name, Developer Name, Description, Images, and Primary Color as shown in the screenshot, and then click Next

Step 6. The Second Step is App Options. Here we have to manipulate the navigation style and setup setting and then click Next

Step 7. The Third Step is to Add Utility Item, Add the required fields required for the app, and then click Next

Step 8. The fourth step is to Add the Available items from the box for ex., Home, Contact, App launcher e.t.c., and then click Next 

Step 9. The last Step Selecting the Available Profile i.e., System Administrator, and then click on Finish

QuantoKnack App has been Created 

Verification

Click on App Launcher and search for Quantoknack Click on It.
